CPQ on PEDs

CPQ; configure, price, quote software, is a market with a growing demand. The ability to accelerate the “quote to cash” cycle is a competitive necessity today. Multiple commercial CPQ tools are available to help companies, from small to large enterprise, create and provide configuration-centric quotes.

Imagine upping the performance of a CPQ with a “PED”, in this context a “performance enhancing diagram”. Whether a starting point to a quotation or auto-generated from a configurator (stay tuned!), diagrams can play a key role in improving quote to cash metrics; both in time savings and in win rates.

Teldio’s D3M SaaS application is only one of a handful of commercial CPQ solutions that makes diagramming an intrinsic element in the quote to cash process. Diagrams not only depict what’s needed, how and where, they also capture the overall scope of a proposed solution in such a way that it is evident and demonstrable, both to the proposer and the targeted user. Diagrams easily allow for and show an iterative design of a networked solution, as changes (in the case of D3M, done in real time) are required for optimization and accuracy.

Sure, the theory of quotation optimization using diagrams is attractive. In the case of D3M, however, we have several years of real-life proof point use cases supported by our user community; check out some of our user reviews. D3M continues to be enhanced to aid the quote to cash process in multiple network-centric markets. In the case of our diagramming capabilities and leadership, performance enhancement is a good thing!
